Here are the photos from Cole's little birthday celebration last night. He loved his cake and opening all of his presents. We told him that he will also be going to "A Day Out with Thomas" on Saturday, where he gets to take a ride on a real Thomas train! I don't think he gets it though, he kept asking me to "Open Thomas" last night. I guess to him, Thomas is really small, like his toys. He'll understand when we get there on Saturday!
The first couple of pictures are him running away from me and very angry that I was trying to take his picture. I was attempting to take a picture of him at 5:56 PM exactly, as that was the time he was born. You can see how successful I was. You can also tell that he was none too thrilled with our rendition of "Happy Birthday", it looks like we're torturing him!

Great pics! I love how skeptical he looks about the cake!
He is ridiculously cute and looks like such a sweet little guy!
Oh I love them. I'm so glad you shared them so quickly! And the teacher in me must comment-it looks as if he holds his crayon/pen perfectly! That's going to be helpful when he's in school learning to write! Ok, enough "shop talk." I hope he had a TERRIFIC day, and we're sorry his gifts from us still haven't arrived, but we hope he loves them.
Those are wonderful pictures. I like how happy he is after he blows out the candles...I think he realized then...I actually get to eat the cake! It looks like he already LOVES that camera!! I can't wait to hear about the Thomas trip! He's going to love it!
thanks for the pictures. It looks like he is going to be a photographer when he gets older (or an artist). I can't wait to see the pictures of the Thomas Day.
Oh my gosh! It pained me to see how much Cole suffered througn the singing. However, he really lit up after he blew out the candle and loved the cake. Yummy! I can't believe how much he has grown. We miss all of you so much, especially him. Keep the pictures posted as I will enjoy them over and over and over again. See you guys next month. Hugs and kisses to all..... Mima
