Christmas Edition of Getting to Know Your Friends

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your blogger friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy this entire post and paste into a new post on your blog, if you have one. Change all the answers so that they apply to you.

This is not a Meme or a Tag. You simply play along if you wish to. Or just read the answers.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrap, I rarely use gift bags, unless it's really difficult to wrap. It's way more fun to tear through all that paper!

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real. I cannot have Christmas without the smell of a real tree, and our tree this year smells SO good, even though I'm apparently allergic to it.

3. When do you put up the tree?
The first or 2nd week of December.

4. When do you take the tree down?
The first or 2nd week of January, it will depend on how well it does. This is why I like to cut our tree down ourselves, they last longer than the ones that have been on a truck for God knows how long.

5. Do you like eggnog?
Yes, in small amounts.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
My 10 speed bike. I was SO excited to get that bike!

7. Hardest person to buy for?
My Father-in-Law. He puts a bathing suit on his list, I am so not buying him a bathing suit! (Love you, Bobito!)

8. Easiest person to buy for?
Cole, even though the only thing he asked for is a football and he already has one.

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
No, but if I found one I really liked I would get it.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
I do not send Christmas cards, so, no one be offended when you don't get one from us!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Haha! I'd rather not say, but I have one person that is not the best at choosing gifts for me.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
A Christmas Story, I love Ralphie!!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Not nearly soon enough.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
I don't think so.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Lots of yummy Italian food on Christmas day!!

16. Lights on the tree?
White.

17. Favorite Christmas song?
Oh Holy Night and Silent Night. Both make me cry.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
It depends, we are home this year and everyone is coming to us. 15 people, YIKES!

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Yes.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Neither, SNOWMAN!

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Both, Rob's family opens Christmas Eve and my family opens Christmas morning.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Traffic, but I'm annoyed by that year round. ;)

23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color?
A set of 12 snowman ornaments from my Mom. 1 for each month of the year, they are adorable. I have a minor snowman addiction.

24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner?
We celebrate Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) with a traditional Cuban meal. Christmas day we always have Italian. YUM!

25. What do you want to do for Christmas this year?
Relax

26. Favorite Christmas tradition growing up?
Lots and lots of fun with all the cousins! I used to love the Rotary Christmas party.

27. Favorite tradition now?
I think my favorite thing is picking out the tree as a family. It's the beginning of Christmas for us, but it's just our little family all together, before all the craziness starts.

28. Favorite Christmas Memory?
Finding out I was pregnant with Cole, just before Christmas 2004.
