We decided to take the kids to the National Zoo on Good Friday. We wanted to see some of the cherry blossoms and enjoy the beautiful weather. We had a nice time, but apparently everyone else in the DC metro area had the same idea. It was SO crowded, it made it difficult to get around and the lines were long everywhere. The most important thing was that Cole had a good time and we got to spend the day outside as a family.
