We're finally all moved in after a long weekend and we're mostly unpacked. I'm hoping to be done with that within the next week. Cole is infinitely happier here, you can actually see the difference in him now that he has so much more space to play and an actual yard. He was so good throughout the whole move, I can't brag enough about how well he behaved. We only had a little bit of clinginess, but I think that's to be expected.
We're looking forward to getting settled and visits from family. My Mom comes already on Friday and we are so thrilled. We haven't seen her in over a year. Then, just a couple of weeks later, we get a visit from my Mother-in-law, and she will make the trek with me to Florida to retrieve our dogs. We will be so happy to have our family all back together again.

YAY!!!!! I'm so happy for you guys--this has to feel sooo good!!! You'll get it all done--just give yourself time, and take care of that little "pumpkin spice" (I absolutely love that, by the way)! ;)
Hopefully you will have everything done by the time I get there tomorrow..Just kidding. I can't wait to see you all. It has been much to long. Don't you want to move back east???? Just think, tomorrow at this time I will be arriving as long as Northwest doesn't screw up too badly. How far is is from Detroit to Cedar Rapids by car??
Haha, It would only be about 500 miles from Detroit to Iowa City! At least you're flying early, so hopefully there won't be any delays. And yes, I do want to move back east!
I'm so glad that you are settling in and the little man has adjusted well. Can't wait to see you guys in a couple of weeks. Bob is hoping to see Rob when he goes to Illinois next week. He is sooooo jealous of my going to Iowa. Kisses and hugs to all.....Mima
YAY! Nothing like being in your own home. And can I just say how impressed I am that you are nearly all unpacked...you're amazing!
